The Knowledge Space is an interdisciplinary and international ecosystem gathering research, projects, and readings on knowledge, data, evidence, and policymaking for sustainable development.  

Our work focuses on engaged research, and our network and exchanges often include roles and activities in both research and policy advice, taking place across diverse institutional and geographical settings.  

We take a systems approach, harnessing the interdisciplinarity of our community to address social policy and inequalities, critical and just data and quantification, data literacy, mechanisms of evidence-informed policymaking, anticipatory governance and strategic foresight, local and expert knowledges, socio-environmental relations, and societal learning.  

The projects led by members of the Knowledge Space cover the full policy cycle, from citizens to policymakers and strengthening effective governance.
